Module 14: Mastering The Clinical Conversation - Book

This is the first paid content we’ve encountered in this study guide. The book is good and it’s worth it, so go buy it. One word of warning is that this is a text book, it reads easy but is also fairly dense.

Pay particular attention to chapter 8, Building and Delivering Experiential Metaphors, and the Quick Guide at the end of the book.

Discussion

  1. It may not be obvious right off the bat, but the style of RFT presented in this book is much different from the GO-RFT lab’s work. Why do you think that is?

  2. You’ve heard the term coherence in the HDML model of RFT, but this book uses the term differently. How do the two concepts differ? Where are they alike?
