Acceptance & Commitment Therapy Worksheets For You and Your Clients
Since childhood we've been conditioned to move into problem solving mode when we hear the word "worksheet", but what if a single sheet of paper could alter your relationship with the world around you without looking at problems or for solutions? I've designed the following materials to be used in a variety of creative ways. You can use them yourself as a clinician to become more flexible. You can use them in session with clients, or assign them as homework. No matter what they'll elicit experience. I call them worksheets, but only for lack of a better term. Rip 'em up and tell me what you think!
Contact with the present moment
What thoughts or feelings show up when you imagine a sheet of blank copy paper? How many ways can a single piece of paper be experienced? Print this and find out.
Contact with the present moment
Do you hear what I hear? What about now? Try to keep up with all of the different sounds waiting at your finger tips when you print out this page.
Seeing the world
Sometimes it's all about the framing. Use this sheet and see if your experience of the world right in front of you changes.
Hold on gently
A classic ACT acceptance technique. Break out the crayons & scissors and practice different ways of holding onto your experience.
