Mindful Action During Grief

Mindful Action During Grief

65.00 85.00

The death of a loved one is one of the hardest experiences a person can go through. Its not uncommon for people to become stuck deep within their grief for a period of time, during which their life can shrink around them. Breaking free from this stuck state and getting back into life all the while still honoring the person who died is a challenging task. Through harnessing mindful actions, we can continue to grieve without losing sight of our own life and others that we love.

This workshop is designed for any grief worker, and will teach you how to harness mindful action with your clients in a way that will allow them to grieve in an open and expanded way, while remaining connected to their deceased loved one as well as those still physically present in their life.

Grief is a part of life, it doesn't have to separate us from our life.

I worked at The Children's Bereavement Center of South Texas for three years, with children and families who had experienced the death of a loved one. For those three years I did nothing but grief work. It's how I got my start!

After experiencing this workshop you will be able to:

1. Apply acceptance & mindfulness based skills functionally to grief.

2. Conduct dynamic functional analysis with client.

3. Conceptualize grief through functional contextual lens.

4. Define mindful action

5. Promote client growth through mindful action
